Sure, boil it and put it into a container with a flexible lid. Another option is to dry the grapes and then reconstitute them later.
The advantage of wine is that it kills many harmful microbes and is a bit safer than non-purified water sources. Grape juice is not as advantageous.

No. It turns rancid. Why would a landowner spend months growing grapes to watch his entire crop turn rancid in a couple of weeks...

No It's flat out impossible to do for even short periods of time.
If you don't believe me go to the market buy some ripe grapes ,squash them and leave them alone unrefrigerated for a couple of days.
Shortly it will start to smell of a kind of funky alcohol
