Way Out From Hi-Tech Marketing Lawsuit (Fhtm)

If you recall, it wasn't too long ago that Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing (FHTM) was issued a cease and desist order as well as its principals, Paul Oberson, Jeff Oberson, and Thomas Mills for violations of North Dakota transient merchant consumer fraud and home solicitation sales laws. This occurred December 10, 2009.

The problem was that FHTM failed to get a license that is required by the state. This doesn't sound like a big problem but this one violation opened the door to more scrutiny. There seemingly were more accusations as to the possibility of whether the company was violating the pyramid law in North Dakota. North Dakota prohibits promotional pyramid schemes in which the participant pays for the opportunity to receive income primarily from the recruitment of other participants rather than the sales of products and services.

But, this matter appeared to be a minor thing and quickly cleared up or it appeared to have cleared up.

On the Kentucky.com web site, there was a report on March 16th, 2010 that the state of Montana, after a five month investigation found Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing to be an illegal pyramid scheme.

Due to its violation, FHTM has been banned from the state of Montana. The company is prohibited from doing business there.

Fortune Hi-Tech has many thousands of representatives in the U.S, Canada, and Great Britain. In order to become a representative with Fortune, one has to pay 9.00, then sell products and services in health & beauty, services; such as GE Home Security, AT&T, Sprint, and Nextel, entertainment; such as, dish network, etc, and communications like their wireless shop, voice connect, and more.

The person at the top of the pyramid receives commissions from each sale and each new membership, which is considered to be legal because they sell products. This is Fortune's side of the story. On the other hand, Montana disagrees.

Montana feels that FTHM is not a multi-level distribution company, but rather a pyramid company because the compensation each participant in the program receives is derived primarily from obtaining the participation of other persons in the program and not the sale of goods and services. Hence, the cease and desist order.

But, I am not here to add fuel to the fire by adding my opinion to this political rhetoric. What I want to share, in particular to those who are members of Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing is this. If you are tired of the FHTM accusations and are not sure whether this company is going to survive this, I can understand. He was earning a five- figure per month income and had just moved to another country along the beach and didn't know what to do. Have you recently lost a dog? Are you grieving for the loss of your pet and no one understands what you are going through? A dog is a cherished member of the family and when they die, something in us dies too. I have good news for you. On June 24, 2010, there is a pet grief support group called “Hope for Healing” hosted by Jo’s Hope for Kentucky Animals Inc.

The “Hope for Healing” support group provides support for those grieving the loss of their beloved pet or maybe currently caring for and elderly or sick pet and are facing the issue of whether or not to put them down or let nature take its course.

If you decide to go, you are encouraged to bring pictures, dog collars, their favorite toy, etc., to share with others so that you might be able to talk freely about your dog and how much they meant or still mean to you and your family. Others who are available to offer support are also invited to attend.

Jo’s Hope for Kentucky Animals, Inc. is a Kentucky non-profit corporation. It provides a safe, loving refuge for abused, injured and abandoned animals. They also network with United Rescues of Kentucky and other Kentucky shelters and rescues to reunite owners with lost animals, and to place as many homeless animals as possible in the best rescue situation possible. Cats have amazing night vision requiring only one sixth the amount of light to see objects as humans need. This is due in part to their enlarged pupils. At low light levels the pupil enlarges to cover almost all the surface area of the cat's eye. The domestic cat is however unable to process colors apart from blue and green, being indifferent to others such as red. So don?t take it personally if your cat snubs that new pretty red sweater you bought for it.

Contrary to what many people think cats have much better sense of hearing than dogs. They can detect frequencies ranging from 55Hz to 79 kHz while dogs can only hear up to 44 kHz. Humans can hear only up to a meager 18 kHz.

Think a cat?s whiskers are only on its face? In fact cats have whiskers all over their bodies which help them detect objects in the dark by sensing currents of air and by touching them.

Their sense of smell is not as acute as a dog?s (or else we may have had sniffer cats prowling airports) but about twice more powerful than a human?s.

Due to a mutation that occurred during the evolution of the cat they cannot taste sweetness, they only respond to bitter tastes. So if that chocolate bar you left on the table to enjoy after dinner goes missing don?t blame the cat.

Cats can tolerate very high temperatures, staying comfortable up to 52oC, 10oC more than a human. At such temperatures, they don?t sweat but pant a lot more.

Cats love to sleep, snoozing away for 13 to 16 hours on average. While other lazier varieties stay awake for just four hours a day. The phrase cat nap is adopted from such behavior of cats.

Cats are obsessively clean animals who love to groom themselves all day. Microscopic spikes on their tongues are used as a comb. So if you see a cat belching out a hair ball, you know where it came from.
